Scan a family's old photographs, front and back, and keep them with the names, dates and stories that go with them.
Download for Mac- Scans both sides. Flatbeds and photo feeders such as Epson FastFoto and Canon LiDE, through SANE drivers built in. Prints are found, straightened and cropped as they come off the glass.
- Reads the backs. Handwriting and photofinishers' stamps are transcribed and the date is taken from them; prints with nothing written are dated from their style. With Apple Intelligence (macOS 27), or Gemma 4, which the app can install for you.
- Names faces. Name someone once and their other photographs are suggested.
- Builds the tree. Parents, children and partners, and each side of the family.
- Shows them off. A slideshow for the TV that moves from face to face, movies for social media, and a website of the whole archive.
- Keeps it plain. Every scan is a file in a folder you choose, with its details beside it, readable without the app.
Everything stays on your Mac. Scans, faces and the models that read them run on your computer. There is no account and nothing is uploaded.
